Recently I had to create an infographic for the first time for a potential work opportunity. The subject matter revolved around knife care and etiquette for prospective culinary arts students.

I utilized my illustration skills and used elements of story telling to help display the information in the setting of a chef’s kitchen. Each chef represents one of the three categories of Knife Know-How: Good Grips, Blade Basics, and Protect and Preserve. The color palette brings life and energy to the piece, but the type choices balance it out with a more informational and authoritative tone. I am very happy with the finished product, and had a lot more fun building this then I thought I would!
