Stooges Brewing Co. was established by three childhood friends, all avid beer lovers for whom home brewing seemed like the next exciting step. Our small home brewery project launched with a trio of brews and episodic labels to match.

Process
A three-act structure is portrayed in illustration and writing across all three of Stooges Brewing’s flagship brews. They tell the story of a salty captain aptly named The Blubber Hunter whose pursuit of a great drunken whale drives him mad.
Each label has distinct elements that let it work as a standalone design while still feeling like an equal member of the collection.
Results
From loose sketch to final label design, these labels elevate the final product into an experience giving it a strong presence whether on a store shelf or in someone’s hands.
